Professional...Fun...Personable

For me, a wedding ceremony should be professional, fun and personal. A time in your life where you take that deep breath, look at each other, have a cheeky smile and say "We are about to get married!"

Simple and stylish or all the bells and whistles, I try and make each ceremony unique.

I am a Canberra based celebrant but I also travel as far as the South Coast, down to Cooma and up to the Kangaroo Valley. In fact, I don't mind travelling anywhere to help celebrate a wedding.

I have just returned from working overseas for a few years and have plenty of dates available. Contact me today for a no-obligation meeting where we can chat, laugh and create.

About Me

A little bit about me....

I initially became a celebrant in 2011, friends were looking for someone who could help make their ceremony fun, relaxed and personable. Sooo... with a few months of legal jargon to learn, thinking of ideas to help create a unique ceremony and practising my celebrant's voice, I became an official Marriage Celebrant.

I have a teaching background and a love of travelling. I've combined these two on a number of occasions. I enjoy meeting new people, learning a little bit about them and trying to create a ceremony that they (and their guests) will remember forever.

What do I include when you get me as a marriage celebrant?

  • A very professional yet friendly approach in helping you put in place your own wedding ceremony.

  • A ceremony that is individually written and designed to tell your story.

  • The ability and experience to work with ceremonies that involve different nationalities.

  • Assistance and examples to help you write your vows.

  • Beautifully presented marriage certificate.

  • Lodgement of all legal documentation.

  • Reliable PA system with wireless microphone.

  • Stylish table and chairs for signing paperwork on the day.

Weddings

So what happens first....

There is some legal paperwork that needs to be completed at least a month before your ceremony. It's called a Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) and I can take care of that straight away at no cost.

Then - planning the ceremony! For most people, if you’re given a blank piece of paper and told to go away and start working on a ceremony, you’ll still be staring at a blank piece of paper two weeks later. So I normally start by working with you to put a basic outline for your ceremony in place - it gives you a template to start working with.

I have plenty of readings, poems and ideas which you can use for the day or act as inspiration for your own plans.
